This piece is one in a series that I am currently working on. This series in some ways incorporates some of the same themes and abstract forms as the famous art nouveau painter Klimt did in his works. The swirl, circle and block motifs are Klimt-like in nature. The third picture is an example of the swirl motif Klimt used often in his work. Also, I tend to include visually pleasing 'vixen-like' women in my paintings much like Klimt did in his. The third picture is an example of Klimt's women. This one is a more subdued image but overall you can still sense the sexuality present in the form. I have tried to capture certain aspects of his work but I have also changed his vixen-like portrayal of women into a much more innocent interpretation.
