"War Gas" is the second in a series of self portraits ("Something Broke" was the first) that I need to do. I have gotten back into my older style. I didn't realize how much I have been missing what a release my medium can be when just to let what come out- Out. This series is my most intimate and for that reason, I am not going to put words to what I was feeling at the time, I am not a writer, so I will not try; I am a painter, and use imagery, to get what I have out. This is a series, like I said that needed to happen, my head and hands, good loud music the solemn and solitude of night and smoke.... "War Gas" came to be.
