When I first moved to Arizona, the scenery was an awe, the Sagaro Cactus is the State Tree, it is a against the state law to remove one from the ground, it takes these Cacti 100's of years to grow even 5 feet tall, they come in all shapes and sizes, mostly they are a single tree with a few arms growing along side, builders will design the building around the trees themselves or move the tree to other location, they house birds and desert wildlife, they are a very hardy succulant, when they loose a limb, it may fall to the ground and grow right where it fell, a new limb usually will grow in it's place. I titled this after the storm, it is around 4:00 p.m. the sky is a little dark from the rain clouds, some of the cacti are illuminating, this is the Desert at it's finest.
