She helps keep our thoughts organized, our creativity flowing, and goodness in our hearts. She is the Mother of our souls and she is full of wisdom. She has traveled all over the world, educating herself and she spreads her knowledge all around.

This piece is made from a lot of found objects: a wooden dowel , doll parts, hand-dyed vintage lace, jewelry, an old rusty key, a ceramic bird, a gold ring worn as a bracelet, silk flowers, a Victorian beaded collar, a rhinestone bead, and more.

Her face has been sanded and repainted, the silk flowers were stiffened with fabric stiffener and then painted, The lace has been dyed with black tea. The window is a drawing I made. Her hat is a bit from a very old wall sconce that held a candle, and a vintage rhinestone bead was wired on.

The message on her skirt reads: Give everything. Employ the vivid imagery. And below that: Mother of our souls.
