I created this doll as a mock puppet for our annual Halloween party. She is made from an old plastic babydoll. I removed all the plastic body parts and coated them in gesso. The main body part was stuffed with a large bean bag, I removed the the bag to give the body a lighter look to it. The arms and legs were coated in black acrylic craft paint and the bones were painted on with a white paint pen. The head was accented with black acrylic paint. I reassembled the body and created the dress for the doll out of strips of cheesecloth. To get the puppet look, fishing line was attached to the feet, hands, head and 2 popcicle "x"'s.
