Meet little Skellie hoo-doo love dollie who roams the deep dark woods and ancient white inland sand dunes at night, looking for her long-lost lover. The scent of roses is said to linger behind to confound evening hikers in the fall - the time of year when no rose blooms in Michigan! The ssssswishing sound of her switch raises the hackles of many a surprised camper at night; especially.... when NO wind is blowing! But have no fear... it is only little Skellie keeping up her endless round of searching, searching, searching the woods and shoreline for her fickle long-lost love. Will she find him? Will she peek in YOUR windows tonight? Do you smell roses on the wind... In October? ;)

(Production notes: Little Skellie HOO-DOO Love Dollie is hand-made with Grandma's vintage fabric that has been tea-dyed to give it charm. She has a vintage felt hat that is hand-stitched with buttonhole embroidery. She's made of many new and old found objects such as REAL mummy bead earrings; TWO little eyes in the back of her head (just what every lover needs!); real dried tulip and sunflower petal switch bound with vintage cord; a real crow feather in her hat (crows, the harbingers of secrets and passions); a genuine painted Mexican rose milagro inside of an amber heart-shaped necklace adorn her chest.
