Flower Power: A Botanical Perspective on Life.

In this series I hoped to demonstrate a human emotion or condition using florals. Here I saw the daydreamer, a soft and gentle soul gazing away from the light into the unknown.

I photographed the flower indoors and used strong natural light. The decolourisation of the background allows the emphasis to remain fully on the subtle colours of the bloom.

Prints are available as a limited edition run of just 25. These are printed on Epson A3 Semi Gloss Photographic Paper using Epson six colour printing technology.

Think Pink Show - additional information: I chose this image above other photographs because it has a transient quality. It seems to hover between life in this world and somewhere beyond. I do not mean this in a morbid way; to me strength is gained from spiritual meditation, be that by prayer or other methods. My message in choosing this piece is that strength of spirit is as powerful a medicine as any used by medics. Be positive; believe in the power of prayer.
