What better tools are there for a watercolor artist? Just looking at the opera tinted water and pale hues of blue and green on top of my white pallette makes for inspiration to paint it. Normally my pallette is NEVER quite this clean, but I thought I'd clean it a bit before I decided to paint it. My favorite brushes are sitting atop, you can't really see it here, but I've used my number 06 brush for so long that the paint has come off of the handle now, and is only exposed wood. My new found love for the vibrant pink Opera tube of paint is included. Such a wonderful new paint/tool that I discovered this year. I've switched from the normal 3M tape to stretch my paper to the bright Blue painters tape in the above section. This tool has helped tremendously in the fact that it holds down firmly but yet, won't ruin or tear my paper when I'm done. My favorite old Navy metal cup that holds all my brushes that was given to me by a friend years ago. This style is a little looser than my normal style which I found to be quite freeing for me. Not having to worry if my paint flows into other areas, or wether my lines were perfectly straight etc. Was quite fun. I also did a video demonstration of this painting on youtube.
