This is my first show here in ESBQ and I am happy to have created this White-tailed tropical bird for the show. As my artist friend Carmen Keys mentioned, "You would paint a tropical bird", because I always want to be warm and in the tropics. This bird comes in to nest after a long day's fishing hunt. They nest in tree roots and have clear landing paths with no plants blocking them. I especially love the long tail plumage!
