A struggle between massiveness and feathers, this neck collar screams rocks, weight, massive presence but is as light as a feather to the touch, Utterly deceiving, begging to be something it is not and always reminding us that things are not always as they seem. The paper is Tyvek which is colored with various paints and then heated to create the organic shape. The paper is riveted to hand formed and colored aluminum which peak out from beneath the paper to become part of the design. The paper is accented with anodized aluminum wire and fused dichroic glass.
