This piece was painted on a glass from a picture frame, that had a corner broken off. I cut the glass down with a glass cutter, and painted this design with Pebeo Vitrea 160 glass paints, and a touch of acrylics. I cut and attached a piece of regular window screening material left over from re-screening my kitchen door to the back to give it just a bit of subtle textural interest in the background. I had been wanting to experiment to get a 'faux' stained glass effect, and really had a lot of fun doing this piece. I hope you enjoy it.
