This is about as recycled as I can get in a self portrait! I have a bad habit of not cleaning my pallet after painting and also not cleaning my brushes many times. I have stock piles of old paint pallets and HARD brushes that I just cant bear to discard into the dump. So, I incorporated them into a mixed media wall hanging. along with my messy pallet and dried brushes I've added a piece of stainless steel from a local metal fabrication warehouse and cut a pictures of myself out of it. ALL the JUNK is laminated onto an acrylic painted canvas and the entire piece is coated in resin.
