This is a wild fashion art! The material used here is sleep bag believe it or not. Found this in a gaint garbage bin in a downtown alley, couple torn and stained sleep bags. At first i wanted to save them for the poor homeless on the street. But then an inspiration of fashion come to mind (thanks to Zoolander movie's homeless fashion) and i have to 'steal' them from the alley. Both pieces of fashion gown are made from those 2 sleep bags. I have never tear a sleeping bags apart before, and since they are already torn, so why not give myself a chance to shine? The temptation is just too high! haha. Although i will not consider tham 'wearable' because they only look good for camara, it is still a very creative creation. They only look like they are dresses, used lots of clips to make them look like dresses, also used fashion item like belts & scarf to blend the whole thing. I used the sleeping bags becos i don't remember seeing anything like this before, the color is good and the frabic is dramaticly fluffy, so it caught my eyes. The models are real people but we made a hand painted paper mask to make them look like mannequins. I think it is one of the best creation from me and photographer. I really think this is cool~~!!! It may first appear as photography art, but the real point is for you to see the fashion and that's the main reason behind.
