This work was made with a recycled coffee sleeve, the kind that comes on a to-go coffee cup. The coffee sleeve adds texture to the work. Also included are glass beads, ribbon, found metal objects. There is a swinging keyhole that moves to reveal a geisha. The letters spell out, "Come as you are." The message is one of welcome, but also a reminder to show up in our lives in the present moment, not to delay happiness for when we accomplish a, b, or c.
