Fire thorn is a large evergreen shrub that is cherished for its spectacular fall and winter display of green, yellow, orange, and scarlet fruits. The plants has the ability to withstand dry and droughty conditions shooting long stems in all directions. Also known as pyracantha it grows into a large mound ten feet by twelve feet with sharp thorns hiding amongst the dark green leaves. Painting the red berries of the fire thorn was so interesting. Every addition of color added to give the berry its round shiny surface amazed me. One of my favorite colors is red. Available for Sale. Enjoy!
