Black and White Ruffed Lemur, pastels on Ingres paper. The Lemurs are amongst my favorite animals. I have been lucky enough to work with these guys for a short period of time and they are wonderful! The Black and White Ruffed Lemur is particulary striking and because of the bold expression of colour, I chose to create this piece. Night Spirit was created from sketches referring from photographs and life observation of this lemur.
