A friend and I were spending the afternoon on Seattle's waterfront with our cameras.
I photographed the fountain and the light globes by the Pike Place Market. And when we stopped to rest, I photographed a friendly pigeon.
When I wanted a city scene, I chose the pigeon.
Because in a city, pigeons are the closest thing to wildlife. And yet they symbolize cities. What could be more typical of city life than a pigeon? This could be any city, anywhere.
