Here is a piece that I just love!

Just last fall I was lurking around Seattle and I spotted this little Neon Sign above the sidewalk. No shop was in sight so I meandered into the hallways and found myself going up some stairs that led to a window overlooking the roof. Spotting the tree with my pulse quickening, resistance was futile as my legs slipped thru the opening and took me out onto the tar covered building. There I made several exposures of this wonderful tree and my new favorite sign.

Again notice the drama and balance of the two items, tree nature made, sign, man made. It is beginning to show lately I have been drawn to Neon. Maybe it is the warm glow all controlled, jailed in glass. Maybe it is the sound like the quiet humm of a Honey Bee. Or maybe it's just the thrill of being up on a roof.

Anyway, I love Urban Hunting with my shutter ready to fire.
