COUNTRY APPLES This is an original acrylic painting by Artist Lila Spence c2006. Measures 16"x20" in size. Medium: Acrylic. From my "COUNTRY APPLE SERIES" "Country Apples" is a very bright and colorful painting of bright red apples in a basket. A red and white checkered table cloth on the table. A bowl of Apple Cinnamin cerial for breakfast. Bright yellow green leaves in the background. What a "gorgeous" country setting! There's nothing like "Hot Apple Cinnamon Cereal For Breakfast In The Morning!" "Hot Apple Cinnamon Cereal" (1¼ hours 10 min prep) 4 cups skim milk 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 2 teaspoons low-fat margarine 2 cups rolled oats 2 cups peeled and chopped apples 1/4 cup raisins 1/2 cup wheat germ nonstick cooking spray 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine in a pan the milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 3. Scald over high heat. 4. Combine with the remaining ingredients and pour into a 2 quart casserole dish that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. 5. Cover, and bake for 45 minutes or microwave for 10 minutes at full power. 6. Stir several times.
