Cider Mill

Here is a Vintage Cider Mill used for turning Apples to pulp before pressing. This image was produced specifically for this show. The choice was made because of the circular style and the color of the apples.

I started by photographing the mill at a local farm. Then shooting a seperate scene to be used for the background. Then scanned both into my computer. Then I printed the scenes out and cut the mill out with exacto knife and placed it over the background print. Some dogding and burning was done to the backgrond print in selected areas to get the desired contrast and density. The mill was then assembled over the backgrond print.
