This piece is for the 2006 EBSQ Ripped off show. I chose Tiffany Y. Matthews' piece "Solitary Tree" because of how I currently feel right now in my life. It is not meaning a saddened moment..just that my indepedance has been growing in my life and has become stronger than ever. I sat with her profile for a long time thinking what to RIP and I tossed between a few pieces. Tho this one kept calling me more and more louder than others I thought I would do.

My version of her RIP is set at sunset instead of an afternoon light. I tend to resonate more to the setting sun ..which is a form of completion to me. Completing one thing or another in my life and getting ready for the new.
