This is my Rip 2006 entry. I ripped John Penfold's Bonfire. It is a fantastic piece, great composition done with masterful technique. I don't know what it is about fires. They are quite mezmerizing. I like to work fast when it comes to pieces that are more gestural or expressionistic like this one. This piece was completed in only 3-4 hours.
