Art of the Day: 04/23/2008
This Week's Theme:   Feet

We put up with a lot of aches and pains. When something hurts, we take something - or not, for the pain and generally go about our day. It is often unpleasant and uncomfortable but we can function and generally feel pretty much ourselves. But the feet... ah, the feet. The bearer of our weight. Our personal transportation devices. We shove them into wonderful but cruel shoes. We run, jump, kick, twirl and shuffle; often subjecting them to pounds of pressure per square inch that seem impossible for the body to handle. Feet are the foundation of our structure and so intrinsic to so much of what we do. When the feet aren't happy - we aren't happy.
