This month is "Dump Month" in our city. Every Sunday neighbors drag their discarded materials to the curb for trash pick-up on Monday. Almost anything goes. When I told my husband about this show, he walked out the door in search of something for me to use as a canvas. Imagine my surprise when he brought home a kitchen sink! I decided to tie Earth Day, the sink, and water conservation together and create a unique pop art piece. On the left portion of the sink there are money bills conveying the thought that when we waste water, we are wasting money as well. In the right portion of the sink, there is a dirty coffee cup, a scrub sponge, and an overdue water bill.
