Dimensions:  3.5 x 2.5 inches

For this mini quilt, I took a very traditional 5 pointed star/pinwheel quilt pattern and created a template from which I cut 10 pieces of fabric to construct the star. 5 pink and 5 red purchased batik fabrics make up the star which I then fused onto a fabric background. I added embroidery floss stitched details and bugle beads as accents. I couched fun yarn around the edge of the quilt.
