Media:  Italian glass hand crafted lampwork beads/seed beads
Dimensions:  20" long
Date of Work:  07/06

This Dutch Spiral necklace is a guaranteed show stopper with it's flashes of red among the black and white hand crafted by me (with love) lampwork beads. The style of the beads is known as "warring States", a style that dates back to 481-22a B.C. In the solid color black Dutch Spiral are sizes 6, 8, 11 seed beads and size 12 hex cut Delicas. I have to say that making the solid black component was very hard on the eyes and something that required a lot of vigilance in paying attention but it was worth the extra time it took to make.
