We don't give them much though, the ten digits found at the end of our foot. There is a reason for them being there and it isn't until one or more of our toes becomes injured or must be removed that we suddenly become very aware, with every step we take, of their importance.

I was into doing a series of pedicure paintings and for the color pink I had to use daisies. They just seem like such a feminine flower. Reminds me of my hippie days, flowers in my hair, on my dress and between my toes.
