A few bits and bobs for the month:

We're really excited to be doing a full-group juried exhibit with Treehugger to benefit Environmental Defense. Juror Jeff McIntire-Strassburg recently blogged about the show here. If you're an art blogger, environmental blogger, or simply a friend of EBSQ, we'd greatly appreciate you doing the same! We're hoping not only to keep a lot of items out of the landfill, but also for both Environmental Defense and the winning artist to receive a nice chunk of change. We hope you'll participate--and spread the word!

Repurposed: Art from Recycled Materials opens 1 April. The deadline for entry is 15 April and the show runs through 30 April 2007.

Also of note:

Interested in a new way to keep up-to-date with EBSQ service-related announcements and breaking news? Look for us on Twitter, a recently developed micro-blogging meets public instant messaging platform that can send/receive announcements on your phone, instant message service, the twitter website itself, and via rss. Twitter is a free service that works across multiple platforms. We don't "tweet" terribly often, so we hope you'll consider adding us to your friends list! (Besides, it's fun!)
