Last month, the buzz on many blogs was about a statue of a rather infamous celebrity giving birth on a bear skin rug. The buzz differed depending on whether you were perusing online parenting communities where many dickered over details such as the impossibility of crowning in "that" position or complaints that said celebrity had a planned c-section (making the work all the more offensive to them) or individual artist blogs: "It looks nothing like her!" or "Is this supposed to be some sort of parody?"

One of topic hosts for our Political Art forum, Angie Reed Garner, took on much of this lively discussion in her journal, including the notion that "there oughta be a show." So--this month, we have a show. We hope you'll enjoy--and help continue--the debate.

Enjoy!
