In lieu of an actual editorial, I thought I'd share some unrelated news and updates this month.
We've added a few new galleries this month; look for new sections for Artist Trading Cards, Hand-altered Photography, Installation and Site-Specific Sculpture, and Airbrush. Also, we're accepting articles on the ATC craze that has hit the online art community. Drop us a line if you're interested!
In other news, congratulations to Cary Snyder whose efforts for the Brain Tumor fundraiser brought in $2,285. And a special thanks to all of the EBSQ members who participated by donating work and spreading the good word. We're excited to add this as an annual event to next year's show calendar.
We're still experiencing some bizarre technical difficulties regarding outgoing email. If you haven't heard from us in ages via your mailbox, that's why! If you're a new artist member or patron and haven't received site passwords or login info, please drop us a line. Also, it's important to note that we're having very specific problems with getting mail to yahoo accounts. We hope to have this situation taken care of in the extreme near future!
Because of the email difficulty, the announcement regarding details for the annual Ripped Off show will appear on the front page of the site, as well as in our Live Journal. We anticipate sign-ups to begin shortly after the beginning of the month.
Speaking of technical difficulties, we're sad to report that Joe Kephart's amazing presentation on Photoshop from May's EBSQ Live is lost in the ether. Rest in Peace, Joe's computer. And thank you for all of your hard work!
And don't forget to tune in on June 21 for EBSQ's own Jen Thario on HGTV's Crafters Coast-to-Coast. Way to go, Jen!
Have a great month!
