The Bee Princess by Noelle Hunt
The Bee Princess by Noelle Hunt

Dime Store Dollies is a project I started last year to save ugly, misused dolls and turn them into something "beautiful." I work only with dolls that are in great need of help! Vintage dolls beyond restoration, or cheap dime store dolls that would normally be thrown away quickly by uninterested children. Learn to repurpose vinyl toys into art.

About the presenter:

Noelle Hunt is a self taught artist who gathers inspiration from retro kitsch items such as pin-up girls, big-eyed children, pity puppies and tiki bars. She studies the objects of her affection and reshapes them in a modern style, dubbed "nouveau retro."
