How long have you been creating?
I have been painting since 1986. As a child I drew all the time and wanted to do Yes album covers(which totally dates me) I attended Maryland Institute College of Art and was very intimidated by the quality of work there. I found oil painting to be completely frustrating. Then a few years later I attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design and felt more at ease with paint.

What, besides your art, brings you creative fulfillment?
Horseback riding brings me fulfillment. Being in nature and around animals. I think communicating is creative.

What are your motivations for creating?
I get an image in my head that makes me chuckle and I feel the need to paint it, it comes in spurts and then I won't paint for awhile.

How do you know when a piece you're working on is done?
When I've lost interest in working on it.

What do you find stimulating right now?
How does this influence your creative process? People and their personalities, quirkiness.
What brought you to EBSQ?
I heard about it from a friend

Please share some of your artistic goals for 2008.
I always want to sell my work. I haven't sold much recently and selling /sharing my work inspires me.

What would you like your fellow EBSQ artists and our collectors to know about you and/or your work?
I think they can know me best by looking at my work.
