How long have you been creating?

... Creating since about the age of 7, actually using it as a source of income for 6 years (ebay!!!)... in my late teens and early 20's I was commissioned by night clubs to graffiti their walls and later in my late 20's I did stained glass with Blaise Botti (richmond, Me.) that lead to a 3 year contract with the Smithsonian gift catalog.

What, besides your art, brings you creative fulfillment?

When the the time allows I love to play around with my musical recording equipment...Drum Machines and Synth Keyboards... make man effort at creating techno/dance music

What are your motivations for creating?

Anything that tugs at my emotions...good or bad.... I love to listen to people and they like to talk to me.. from there I work it into my pieces....emotions, memories, experiences... but my true source is my 4 year old daughter... without her and her tough start who knows where I would be today....

How do you know when a piece you're working on is done?

.... I dont ..I get tired of working on it... I almost feel like I can never get it right so I'm happy with the point that its at so I call it good....????

What do you find stimulating right now? How does this influence your creative process?

...This damn election year!!!! thats stimulating to me... I have done more political pieces in the past few months than I have in the last 6 years on ebay.... I thought for sure this country was ready and wanted a woman for president... Im not sure I will get over that loss, but the creative juices are flowing and I love the flag pieces I'm current working on....

What brought you to EBSQ?

Another artist pointed it out to me and suggested I join cause it could bring me a new audience... this maybe a coinsidence but my art began to sell for alot more than it was prior to joining..ha!!!

Please share some of your artistic goals for 2008.

.... I would love to paint better!!!... I have only been doing it for 3 years and it still feels odd to me for some reason... venture into sculting larger pieces and who know from there...

What would you like your fellow EBSQ artists and our collectors to know about you and/or your work?

For artist... Find what makes you happy and not what makes you money... as for my collectors... I love every one who has ever purchased any of my works.... they seem to have a full understanding of how compassion works and I thank them a million times over!!!
