EBSQ Juried Artist Workshops Announced
by: EBSQ

Another April brings us yet another EBSQ Juried Artist application opportunity. Applications will be accepted between April 5-20. Typically, we do a question and answer session via our online chatroom, but this session we're trying something new. EBSQ will be offering three free workshops to paid EBSQ members via our member forums. We feel this format will work better for a number of reasons:

  • No need to figure out your time zone--the content is available at your leisure.
  • You can participate actively by asking questions or passively simply by reading the information presented
  • Our workshop leaders are tackling the three issues that continue to plague past and potential EJA applicants: jpeg quality, artist statements, and how the heck to decide which 5 pieces to include.
We invite you to check out the following topics:

Photographing your work for jurying presented by Dawn Lee Thompson

Artist Statements 101 presented by Harlan

Choosing what work to submit presented by Lisa Thornton Whittaker

We hope you'll find these workshops a useful addition to the application guidelines. Good luck to all of our potential applicants!
