As part of our commitment to trying new stuff in 2008, we're changing the zine from a monthly publication to a constantly evolving thing with new articles being added as often as daily, and to do that, we need a heck of a lot more contributors. we'd like a lot more of the following types of content:
- how-to articles
- marketing tips
- stories about making it as an artist
- organizational ideas for artists, like cool ways to store your brushes, canvases, organize your beads, etc
- write ups of experiences doing certain annual craft/art shows, the art fair circuit, etc
- inspirational stuff
- materials/equiptment reviews (like what you love about your new digital camera, or a new brand of paint)
- anything else you think other artists would find useful or would want to read yourself
If your writing is particularly good and you're inclined to contribute fairly regularly, we will be hiring regular features writers. And we always welcome one-shot articles.
