The EBSQ Artist Portfolio is your very own web presence. Once set up,
visitors can view your pages at
http://UserName.ebsqart.com.
What's truly
unique about EBSQ Artist Portfolios is that you are in control--you don't
have to wait around for tech support to update an image, and you don't have
to pay additional set-up fees, or for additional perks and images. Our
membership fees are all inclusive, and you have total creative control over
how your work appears on our site. You can add as little or as much as you
like, when you like, and change your portfolio on the fly. Plus--you can
add that latest piece you want to show your collectors, even if it's still
drying on the easel!
Included in your portfolio are separate pages for:
Your Personal information, be it as an artist statement, curriculum vitae,
show schedule, or biography. The content and format is entirely up to you.
EBSQ includes an easy-to-use tool to add an identity image to this page, or
you can format in your own style using html. (All of our tools are
easy-to-use and require no knowledge of html.)
Your Personal Galleries, which is your own internal organization of your
work. How you chose to display your work is up to you. Some members have
their work organized by media, date, style, subject, or personal series.
Additionally, pieces in your personal gallery can be submitted to up to
three categories in EBSQ's Gallery. You pick the categories that work best
for your art.
Your commission information if you choose to offer commissions. Many of our
members make a living purely on commissions, and EBSQ has helped to make
many matches. Our site is searchable by artists who offer commissions, and
how you detail this page is up to you. HTML is allowable, but not required
for this section.
Your show entry archive is the history of your show participation as an EBSQ
member. We have online exhibition opportunism monthly that are open to the
full group, as well as occasional juried shows whose requirements differ
from show to show. When you enter a show, your pieces are automatically
added to your portfolio in this section, along with the show banner. If
you're awarded a prize, that information is added as well, and an "Award
Winner" tag is attached to your directory listing, as well as other places
where your information is displayed on the site.
All members are listed alphabetically in our directory, and can include a
thumbnail of their work in their directory listing. Members which belong to
the juried subdivision of the group, EBSQ+ appear in an additional directory
of juried members.
Practically every area in the site where your information appears links
directly back to your portfolio, so the more involved you are, the more
exposure you get!
