EARTH TEXTURE

This week's theme: The Waning of Autumn
In the Northern Hemisphere, we are roughly 2/3's of the way through Autumn. Things are looking more bare and exposed and the vibrant colours of earlier in the season are giving way to weathered browns and greys. The days are shorter, the nights are colder and Winter is close at hand.
For the ‘JAGGED’ show, I went wandering through my existing images to see what I could find that said ‘Jagged’ to me.
This earthy fractal makes me think of dwarves and hobbits, caves and dragons. It seems to be an infinite pattern of jagged roots and earth and darkness hiding the mysteries of the underworld.
Earth Texture was created in Apophysis software and is 300 dpi.
This image will be available as printed originals as well as on stationery items, posters and other products.
