Art of the Day: Monday January 23, 2012

At Sunset

- by Julie Hollis

This week's theme: The Colour Orange

If you want to know about the colour orange you can Google it. A sample from the Wikipedia article states that "The colour orange occurs between red and yellow in the visible spectrum at a wavelength of about 585–620 nm, and has a hue of 30° in HSV colour space. It is numerically halfway between red and yellow in a gamma-compressed RGB colour space, the expression of which is the RGB colour wheel." If this works for you, great. If not, perhaps an example? If so, you're in the right place as this week's Art of the Day showcases seven excellent examples of the colour orange
