Art of the Day: Sunday June 12, 2011

Earth Art from Northern Arizona

- by Diane Funderburg Deam

This week's theme: Tactile Blues

There are two themes running through the pieces featured in this week's Art of the Day. One is that they are all multidimensional and the other is that they all contain bits of blue.

Art: Earth Art from Northern Arizona by Artist Diane Funderburg Deam
Entered in the "Jagged Show" on EBSQ. Mother Nature has povided the jagged edges that make this piece interesting. "Earth Art" Created by Nature enhanced by me "Diane Deam" Northern Arizona Artist. I spend endless hours searching the forrest lakes and streams looking for pieces of art from the earth that I can transform from my imagination. Your imagination decides what they are. I use beads, wire and paint to transform the wood into a creation of my imagination. Sometimes I use turquoise, sometimes glass or stones.
