This week's theme: Memorial Day Weekend
In the United States, Monday May, 29th is Memorial Day. On this day we honor all those who died in service to the country. The 29th is also the last day of a long, holiday weekend. A weekend that is seen by many, particularly those who live in summer destination areas, as the first weekend of the summer season.
This week, Art Of The Day pauses for the solemnity of the holiday and then brings some of the summer activities that have "officially" commenced.
