Art of the Day: Monday November 28, 2011

- by Molly Harrison

This week's theme: Fantasy Art

Basically, Fantasy Art is art with magical or supernatural themes. It's a definition that seems straight forward, but because the variety of themes and subjects found in Fantasy Art is so vast, as a descriptive it's barely adequate. Fantasy Art is a genre where wondrous worlds of magic and myth are created. It's a place that's inhabited by fantastical creatures, furnished with legends and given life by the imagination of the artist.
