This week's theme: Doorbells
To say "Doorbells" is the theme for this week's Art of the Day is a bit misleading. There are no doorbells in this week's Art of the Day. What you'll actually see this week are five doors and two bells. Therefore... "Doorbells".
The Door is from an old house. I wanted to show the texture of the old wood with the cracks and weathering by useing thick paint. The thickness of the paint creates great texture. The colors were used for the contrast to create a focal point.
