
This painting is based upon one of my photographs taken out West. I love the intense blues of the sky with the contrast of the clouds.
I'm entering it into this show to prove that a horizon can be implied, as well as actual. You look at this painting and see a stone structure; what's on the other side? Perhaps the "real" horizon.You could also consider the rocks to be a horizon.
