Yixing style teapot

This week's theme: Ceramics & Raku
This week, in conjunction with February's Featured Gallery and LIVE! presentation, Art Of The Day looks at Ceramics & Raku.
This piece was inspried by the sculptural teapots produced in Yixing, China. Handbuilt, stoneware. Burnished instead of glazed. I was limited to an oxidation firing and so it was difficult for me to replicate the colors of Yixing clay.
