The Pan

This week's theme: Brought To You By The Letter "P"
The letter "P" is a voiceless bilabial plosive, the 16th letter in the English Alphabet and the unifying theme for this week's EBSQ Art of the Day.
This is one of those pieces that just seemed to demand to be painted. I was sitting out by the fire one winter day, and there was the Pan, reaching down out of the old tree...I wish I could sculpt him, but since I can't a painting will have to do.
