
Of special note - this painting was painted in its entirety during the Art on Lark festival in Albany NY on 6/21/08. It was part of a news feature on the festival. This painting in thick oil applied with a palette knife depicts a colorful female nude. I created it while at the Art on Lark event during a span of about 3 hours solid, my back to the sun. I got so into the piece I didn't realize I was getting badly burned.... Palette knife painting is such a fluid process that I get lost in it.
