This is an original block print painting. The cow is printed from a hand carved block. Which means I work out a sketch until I get the image I’m happy with. I then transfer the image to a block similar to a large eraser. I carve the image into the block—in essence making my own rubber stamp—then print. In this case, the image has been printed on a piece of wood. After printing, I hand paint and embellish the piece.

This cow is bubblegum pink and proud of it! The background has a tiny star and pencil marks and text. All of these elements combine to make a fun, sweet little painting that will certainly brighten your day!

This is a layered piece--the cow is painted on a 1/4" thick piece of wood which is mounted to a 3/4" thick piece of MDF (super sturdy wood). This way the painting can stand on it's own.
