Made from a collage of used instant lottery tickets and acrylic paints on 14"x18"x1/2" maple artboard. This piece contains over 45 different types of scratch-off tickets. I have had the idea to make spoof lottery tickets out of used lottery tickets for quite some time now and have collected hundreds of pounds of used scratch-off lottery tickets. This is the first piece I have created using this technique. Tearing up, collaging, and ultimately painting in the details I have found is very time consuming. Over 30 hours of tedious work went into " Trouty's Spam Catch "

One funny note:
The log near the "Trout Pond" is made entirely out of the Pennsylvania Lottery's mascot... Gus the groundhog.
