This is my entry for the Spam and Trout Show. Many of you know that I lost my studio Mascot Avalanche in May 2006. Many of my bulldog pop art paintings feature his beautiful structure. In July of 2006 my husband got us two English bulldog puppies Wyatt and Doc. I wasnt ready but they have stolen my heart and have kick started my painting again! This is a first in a series of paintings featuring my new models. Wyatt is the one facing you in the painting and Doc is in profile. Doc is asking "Do you think it will bite me?" as he reaches for the net while Wyatt waits patiently after snagging a BIG TROUT. They are floating in their custom made "Spam" boat!...I'm pretty sure they ATE the SPAM before they launched!!
