My grandson and I went to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco 2 years ago when he was five. We both came away with a vivid memory of swans that were not afraid of people at the pond in the botanical gardens. I did some paintings from memory that I sold and then, just this week, I saw his drawing/painting when I was looking thru a file of his drawings. It recalled the visit and the earlier work. So I re-interpreted his drawing this time rather than searching my photos and memory. He used markers on letter size paper. I used markers and prismacolor on an ACEO. I decided to sign my name the way he signed his.
